Amy and Jay
Hyde Barn Wedding Photography

A British bank holiday wedding. Yes you guessed it, it rained solidly all day! But that didn't stop Amy and Jay having an incredible day at the beautiful Hyde Barn, Gloucestershire.

Amy was stunning in her wedding gown that had seen three generations of weddings and the couple exchanged vows inside the main hall after rain stopped play for the outdoor wedding. The ceremony was very moving and with great music, lifted even more with a wedding party selfie as they walked out.

Then we took some lovely group shots in pre-planned indoor locations. Hyde Barn is a fabulous location so we had lots of options for the wedding photography, but it pays to choose a wedding photographer who will meet you at your venue before your wedding and will always have a plan b in case of rain, and a plan c and d as well.

We did venture out into the rain at Amy and Jay's request to take some lovely couple shots in the beautiful arbor in the gardens at Hyde Barn. Amy and Jay and their guests then headed off for their wedding reception and we were taken brilliant care of by the team at Hyde Barn, and can confirm, the food is amazing, quite a treat for a wedding photographer! Gloucestershire has many great venues, but this one is certainly up there.

Thanks to Amy and Jay for choosing us to be their wedding photographer, Gloucestershire.

"We love love love the photos! You captured the day beautifully, even on a rainy old 'summers' day. We loved having you both there, you made us both feel very at ease in front of the camera. We love the reportage photos which really capture the day as it was and you've really done justice to the little details which we put so much effort into. Thank you for being such brilliant wedding photographers!" Amy & Jay
