The Barn at Upcote

Like many couples, Amy and Dave were due to marry at the beautiful Cotswold setting of The Barn at Upcote in the spring of 2020, little did we know a global pandemic would have something to say about that! After a couple of attempts at new dates, they finally managed to tie the knot on a glorious October afternoon.

After getting ready in the Barn's luxurious honeymoon suite, Amy and Dave had an intimate ceremony surrounded by 12 of their nearest and dearest - the maximum Boris and friends would allow at the time. The mandatory face coverings in the wedding photos will remind us of a historic and challenging year, but will also remind us that happiness and love always shine through even the darkest of times.

As if to prove a point, Mother Nature did her thing and provided us with the most beautiful golden light for our final shots of our couple shoot in the vast grounds and backdrops the Barn at Upcote has to offer. The team at the Barn were phenomenal as always, and thanks to Amy and Dave for choosing me to be their wedding photographer and sharing their special day.
